Our Regional Management Team members work together to make sure the stores in their area go above and beyond our customers’ expectations in terms of product and service. Operations Manager

Leading a team of Store Managers and their respective teams in-store, an Operations Manager within The Co-operative Food drives the business objectives and goals and just as importantly, ensures our values and ethics are also promoted through each store.

They deliver the financial contribution and capitalise on trading opportunities to enhance the customer offer and the Co-operative brand, by leading, developing and engaging the store management team.

An Operations Manager will lead, coach and develop the capability and performance of the store management team to ensure improvement in key performance indicators such as sales, waste and personnel costs.

Other responsibilities include driving customer service standards across, legal compliance and a full involvement in building community relationships.  

Regional Operations Manager

A Regional Operations Manager is responsible for delivering the region’s financial contribution, increasing regional market share and enhancing the Co-operative brand by leading and developing the Operations team.


Contributing to the Regional Financial Plan, they also control key performance indicators and lead, coach and develop the Operations Team. The role also requires active involvement in our expansion policy by identifying and developing opportunities to enhance the regional store portfolio.
