The finance team has a number of responsibilities. The operational finance team provides support and information to the Management teams to help deliver budgets and drive profitability within the business. The Financial team works closely with the Operational teams to ensure the business is moving in the right direction throughout the financial year, helping to ensure that the business continues to deliver improving financial results every year.
The Funeralcare finance team also coordinates the production of budgets, forecasts and business plans for the business, as well as providing support in respect of Financial Accounting and costs.
In addition to this the team will provide analysis on the financial data available. This is vital both to the central functions and the operational teams, allowing them to make the right financial decisions for the business.
While the team is mainly based within the head office complex in Manchester, there is the opportunity to travel when working with the operational teams.
