Roles within our Desktop Support team
Desktop Support Analysts
Based in our Manchester Head office and around the UK in Co-operative occupancies, the Desktop Support Analysts are the first port of call for all IT issues. Providing software and hardware support, the team works toward set objectives, and training is provided based on output from skills matrices.
Our Hardware Analysts carry out repairs to equipment, and build and distribute new hardware to our customers.
Hardware Assistants ensure stock levels are maintained and accurately recorded.
Senior Analysts work with the management team to mentor and develop the team technically.
Team Leaders and Team Managers
Our ‘back-room’ Team Leaders and Team Managers ensure the Analysts are able to carry out support to a high standard, and provide feedback to the team.
Working to maintain ISO accreditation, the Technical Administrator for the team works from our Sharepoint knowledge base to review and update our work instructions and documentation, identifying software that can be packaged to streamline the service.
Our Packaging Team assesses all new software and ensures that, where possible, installs are packaged via wise or appropriate application for ease of delivery to our customers.
